HELLO AND WELCOME

to my website

You may be here because you are curious about psychotherapy and counselling, or perhaps because you are struggling. The first thing I would like to say is that it is common to struggle, and it is more than OK to need some help when things are getting too tough to handle on your own. I am here to provide you with a non-judgemental, safe space, where we can explore together what it is that you are finding challenging.

WHY COUNSELLING?

WHY COUNSELLING

and how it works

Taking the first step into seeking support might be daunting, and I am well aware of that. We will be working Psychodynamically – which means we will explore links between your past and present, how previous experiences may still be shaping your current way of being in a manner you might wish to change.

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

My areas of expertise are quite varied. Some of the issues that I provide counselling for include:

  • Relationships

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Bereavement

  • Loss

  • Work issues

  • Trauma

  • Abuse

  • LGBT+ Issues

About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a trained and experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist, working both in the charity sector and private practice. I have a BSc. in Psychology and Criminology from the Open University, and an MSc. in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling from Birkbeck, University of London.

I have a warm and compassionate approach, and offer a comfortable counselling space for you to share whatever you want to explore.

I offer weekly online or in person meetings.

FIRST STEPS

FIRST STEPS

I offer a free initial phone consultation of 20 minutes, during which we can decide whether I am able to help you. There is no commitment during the session, and if it is determined that I am not able to assist you, I will propose other options, so you would be able to make a choice of which route seems to suit you best.

HOW DO I BOOK

and what will I get?

If you decide you would like to work together, sessions are 50 minutes long and cost between £80 to £110 (or 350-500 NIS), depending on your circumstances..

We would meet once weekly, at the same allocated time you choose. Both open-ended therapy and time-limited therapy can be offered; with a minimum of 12 sessions as a basis.

I will ask for 4 weeks' notice ahead of any potential absence, otherwise missed sessions will be payable.
